Mobile WiMAX is a 3rd generation broadband wireless technology that enables the convergence of mobile and fixed broadband networks through a wide area radio-access. Since January 2007, the IEEE 802.16 working group has been developing a new amendment the IEEE 802.16 standard i.e. IEEE 802.16 m as an advanced air interface to meet the requirements of ITU-R/IMT-Advanced for 4G systems. The mobile WiMAX air interface adopts orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) as multiple access technique for its uplink and downlink to improve signal performance affected by multipath distortion. All OFDMA based networks, including mobile WiMAX, experience the problem of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). This paper presents a discrete-sine-transform precoding technique based random-interleaved OFDMA (RI-OFDMA) uplink system for PAPR reduction in mobile WiMAX. The PAPR of proposed system is analyzed with root-raised-cosine pulse shaping filter to keep out of band radiation low and to fulfill the spectrum mask requirements. Simulation results show that, the proposed system has low PAPR compared to the Hadamard transform precoded RI-OFDMA uplink systems and the conventional RI-OFDMA uplink systems.  相似文献

This paper presents an integrated security architecture for heterogeneous distributed systems. Based on the MPEG-21 standard data structures and the MPEG-M standard services, the proposed architecture provides a unified, fine-grained solution for protecting each information unit circulated in the system. In this context, a novel scheme for translating the access control rules, initially expressed by means of the standard MPEG-21 Rights Expression Language, into Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption access trees is introduced, thereby enabling offline authorization based on the users’ attributes, also encapsulated and certified using MPEG-21 licenses. The proposed framework provides a detailed approach in all the steps of the information protection process, from attribute acquisition to data encryption and decryption.  相似文献

Monoclinic tungsten oxide (WO3) nanorods were grown using the hydrothermal method on a seeded W foil. The seed layer was formed by thermal oxidation of W foil at 400°C for 30 min. Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) or hexamethylamine (HMT) was used in the reactive hydrothermal bath, along with sodium tungstate dihydrate (Na2WO4.2H2O) and hydrochloric acid (HCl). The concentration of CTAB was varied from 0.01 M to 0.07 M and the concentration of HMT was varied from 0.01 M and 0.05 M. The result showed that CTAB-assisted hydrothermal reaction produced WO3 nanorods with 4–7 nm diameter, and provided that CTAB concentration was less than 0.07 M. WO3 nanorods could not be obtained when CTAB concentration was 0.07 M. Columnar structured WO3 was produced with the presence of HMT in the hydrothermal bath. This was due to decomposition of HMT to form hydroxyl ions (OH?) that inhibited the growth of nanorods. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) analysis showed better electrochromic property of WO3 nanorods compared to columnar structured WO3.  相似文献

Solution cast technique is employed to prepare solid polymer electrolyte films based on chitosan (host polymer) and silver triflate (AgCF3SO3, doping salt) using (1%) acetic acid as a common solvent. The effect of salt concentration on both EP and bulk materials dielectric properties has been analyzed. Physically the original relationship between the bulk dielectric constant and DC conductivity has been interpreted. It is demonstrated that the dielectric constant and dielectric loss values decrease at higher temperatures due to the reduction of silver ions. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive analysis of X-ray (EDAX) indicate the presence of metallic silver particles. The ac conductivity spectra shows three distinct regions and obeys the Jonscher's power law at high frequency regions. The temperature dependence of frequency exponent (s) shows the crossover from CBH model to SP model.  相似文献

A new lead complex, [Pb(mq)2], (mq = 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline) was prepared via an electrochemical route from the oxidation of lead metal in the presence of 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline in a fast and facile process. The complex was fully characterized by means of NMR and IR spectra and elemental analysis. The nanostructure of the prepared compound was obtained by sonoelectrochemical process and studied by scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Thermal stability of single crystalline and nanosize samples of the prepared compound was studied by thermal gravimetric and differential thermal analysis. The photoluminescence properties of the prepared compounds, as single crystals and as nanorods, have been investigated. The results showed a good correlation between the size and the shape of the complex particles and emission wavelength. The prepared complex was doped in PVK:PBD blend as guest and its application in the fabrication of OLED was studied. The ratio of lead complex was modified and was equal to 8 (w/w %) in PVK:PBD (100:40).  相似文献

The organic olives from Çine-Ayd?n (Turkey) were washed with tap or ozonated water for 2 and 5 min, respectively, and pressed to olive oil. The effects of wash treatments on fatty acid composition and several quality parameters of the oils were determined. The maximum values after 2-min ozonated water washes were 9.58 meqO2/kg, 0.73%, 2.44 and 0.16 for peroxide, free acid, K232 and K270 values, respectively, which were under the standard limits for extra-virgin olive oil. Five min of ozonated water washes also yielded acceptable results, except for a slight excess on K232 value. Ozonated water washes had almost no effect on fatty acid composition.  相似文献

Platinum (Pt) nanocrystals of cubic and octopod structures were synthesized via seed-mediated solvothermal growth with monoethanolamine as the solvent. The combination of nanocube and octopod structures was formed using 0.025 ml seeds loading, while increasing the seeds volume to 0.050 ml and 0.100 ml produced nanocube as the primary product. The octopod structure evolves from the overgrown nanocube via kinetic growth mechanism. Pt nanocube formed with 0.050 ml seeded solution has the potential to serve as a catalyst in formic acid oxidation by virtue of its high electrochemical surface area of 10.93 m2/g, over that of Pt black at 8.62 m2/g and resistance to poisonous CO. Nonetheless, it is less catalytically active in ethanol oxidation as depicted by the small electrochemical surface area of 8.64 m2/g and low current density in longer period.  相似文献

Abstract

Real-time model-based reservoir management requires efficient computational techniques for optimizing reservoir performance under uncertainty. A variety of algorithms addressing various aspects of this “closed-loop” methodology have been presented by various investigators, but substantial effort is still needed to make the entire process robust and efficient. In our recent work, we introduced an approximate feasible direction optimization algorithm for treating nonlinear path constraints (which are constraints such as maximum liquid production rate, which must be satisfied at every time step) and a new parameterization based on kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) for multipoint geostatistical models. The KPCA representation allows for the use of a gradient-based history-matching procedure that is able to maintain a higher degree of geological realism in the history-matched model. In this article, we combine these procedures with our general adjoint-based optimization technique to provide a full closed-loop capability. This integrated set of algorithms is then applied to a realistic field case. Specifically, we describe the key computational procedures and highlight the linkages required to provide the closed-loop capability. The example case considered is based on a Gulf of Mexico reservoir and involves three injection wells and four production wells operating under bottom hole pressure, total injection rate, and maximum water cut constraints. For this case, it is demonstrated that application of the closed-loop methodology provides a 25% increase in the net present value (NPV) over predictions for a realistic base case. This improvement is almost the same as that achieved using an open-loop approach, which is an idealized formulation in which the geological model is assumed to be known. These results demonstrate that the overall closed-loop procedure will indeed be applicable for practical cases with uncertain geology.  相似文献

Mechanical blends of thermoplastic medium density polyethylene (MDPE) and elastomeric ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) have been prepared with a fixed composition of 60/40 wt%. They have been used either in their gum form or loaded with two different reinforcing fillers, high abrasion furnace (HAF) carbon black or precipitated SiO2 (Hi Sil) of concentration 25–100 phr (parts per hundred parts of resin) with respect to the blend. Curing was achieved by gamma irradiation. Yielding properties (yield stress, yield strain and cold drawing) have been followed as a function of irradiation dose for different blend compositions. Yield stress values increased with irradiation dose and with the content of the reinforcing filler, but yield strain and cold drawing values decreased with irradiation dose and also with the filler content. The data obtained reveal that Hi Sil is more effective as a reinforcing filler, and the prepared blends are suitable for load‐bearing applications. © 2001 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献
